REVOCATION Films 'Dismantle The Dictator' Video

Boston's REVOCATION teamed up with video director Dave Brodsky (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, ORIGIN, HATE ETERNAL, MISERY INDEX) to lens the band's first video from their Relapse debut "Existence Is Futile". The clip, for the song "Dismantle The Dictator", was filmed just outside of Boston this past weekend. An international premiere date will be announced shortly.

"Existence Is Futile" sold around 440 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD landed at position No. 148 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"Existence Is Futile" was released on September 29 in North America and October 5 internationally via Relapse Records. The follow-up to "Empire Of The Obscene" was recorded at Damage Studios in Southbridge, Massachusetts with engineer Pete Rutchko.

REVOCATION will join THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER for two free shows in early December. These Scion-presented concerts will take place in Atlanta and Los Angeles on December 2 and December 3, respectively.

Just prior to these shows, REVOCATION will team up with NEURAXIS and THE LAST FELONY for a handful of Canadian dates.
